On March 9, the annual thematic dictation dedicated to Taras Shevchenko's birthday took place in the safe space of KhAI.
The event was attended by students, teachers, and everyone who wanted to test their knowledge of the Ukrainian language and honor the great Kobzar together.
According to the results of the examination of the works, three winners of the dictation were determined:
1. Hanna ZADNEPROVSKA - Head of the Department of Postgraduate and Doctoral Studies;
2. Ihor DIDENKO - Graduate Editor of the newspaper "Za Aviakadry" of the Public Relations Center;
3. Iryna TUR - Dean of the Faculty of Humanities and Law.
During the rector's office, the acting rector of the university, Oleksii LYTVYNOV, solemnly presented the winners with gifts to applause.
The main thing that everyone noted: the event caused a real flurry of good jokes and positive emotions.
Igor DIDENKO admitted that after the dictation his favorite phrase became “neopalyma kupina”. And Oleksii LYTVYNOV joked: in language learning the concept of “word of the week” is now popular, so this time, undoubtedly, the word of the week at KhAI thanks to the dictation was “ne chuvany”.
The bright atmosphere of writing the dictation and summing up pushed the university community to a new idea — to start a tradition of monthly dictation in the circle of friends, colleagues and like-minded people with the determination of the winners.
