Applause and sincere words rang out in KhAI today. The National Aerospace University welcomed a new generation of bachelors — the class of 2026.
These are the same boys and girls who mostly entered the university in the summer of 2022. Under enemy fire and in an almost empty Kharkiv, they chose their university. For KhAI that year, it was not just an introduction — it was an act of trust. Confidence in the university, which has remained with its city, and confidence in the future.
Four years of training to the sound of air alarms and sirens, without lights, with the constant challenges of war. Counting losses, escorting family and friends to the front and meeting them from the front. These are the first bachelors whose student life, from the first year to receiving a diploma, fell entirely on the years of a full-scale war.
And yet it is an incredibly heroic course. It was these students who preserved the spirit of KhAI and its traditions.
It was they who planted trees on the territory of the university in the spring of 2023, saying: "The trees saved the university in 2022, now we are repaying the debt."
They were the ones who kept the student flag over the university — and today it flies over KhAI.
This was discussed by the rector of the KhAI Oleksii LYTVYNOV, the deans of the faculties, parents and guests who shared this important day with the graduates.
The photo shows only a part of our graduates. Unfortunately, not everyone was able to come to Kharkiv.
Separately, we congratulate those graduates who received KhAI diplomas at enterprises in Zaporizhzhia, Kyiv, Dnipro and other cities of Ukraine.
We believe that most of you will continue your studies at the KhAI Master's. And those who have already chosen a different life path will forever remain KhAI's community.
