Modern education is not only lectures, but first of all the ability to self-organize and continuous professional development. In a world where environmental standards change every day, a specialist must be one step ahead in order to meet the challenges of the time.
This is especially relevant for future ecologists. It is already clear: restoring the environment of Ukraine after the war will require enormous work and extremely complex solutions. That is why additional education is becoming a strategic priority.
We are proud of the successes of Taisia BIRZUL, a student of the Department of Ecology and Technogenic Safety (group 119)! She successfully completed her studies at the virtual academy "EcoEducation", organized by the Association of Environmental Professionals PAEW.
Why is this important? Lectures from leading experts were devoted to topics that are key for the modern industry:
- environmental monitoring;
- implementation of ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) principles.
Such knowledge is a powerful addition to university training. They help to understand how business works in harmony with nature according to world standards. The teachers of our department not only keep their finger on the pulse of innovations, but also actively involve students in such initiatives.
