On the occasion of the 96th anniversary of KhAI, the university received sincere congratulations from the second President of Ukraine, Leonid Kuchma, as well as from the Aerospace Association of Ukraine and its president Viktor Popov.
In his address, Leonid Kuchma emphasized that for almost a century the Kharkiv Aviation Institute has been uniting people who are driven by love for the sky, and today also love for their native land, which must be protected. He noted that KhAI has always been a mark of quality, and now it is an example of stability, courage and indomitability, because even in the difficult conditions of the Kharkiv frontline, the university continues to teach, research and develop Ukrainian science.
In a greeting from the Aerospace Association of Ukraine, KhAI was called a legendary cradle of innovation, a source of scientific courage and a forge of the elite for high-tech industries. The significant contribution of the university to the development of the aviation and space industries, the training of highly qualified specialists and the creation of modern technologies was noted.
Special words of gratitude are addressed to the teachers, scientists, students and graduates who, despite all the challenges of wartime, continue to bear the name of Khai with dignity and increase its glory.
We sincerely thank you for your kind words of support and high evaluation of our university's activities. Together, we continue to create the history of KhAI, preserving its traditions and opening new horizons for future generations.
