Collective monograph "Pattern Recognition in Surveillance Systems and Diagnostics"

The Estonian publishing house Scientific Route OÜ has published an international collective monograph “Pattern Recognition in Surveillance Systems and Diagnostics”. The publication is dedicated to modern achievements in the field of pattern recognition, digital signal and image processing, artificial intelligence and information data analysis.

The editor-in-chief of the monograph is Professor Volodymyr LUKIN, Head of the Department of Information and Communication Technologies named after O.O. Zelensky (504).

A significant contribution to the preparation of the publication was also made by scientists from the National Aerospace University “Khaylovarsk Academy of Sciences”. The monograph includes three chapters prepared by employees of the Department of Information and Communication Technologies named after O.O. Zelensky (504) and the Department of Information Technology Design (105).

The book highlights modern approaches to solving problems of pattern recognition, processing of digital images, in particular those obtained from sensors of unmanned aerial vehicles, analysis of various types of information data and their practical application. The authors paid considerable attention to the use of methods of artificial intelligence, machine learning, digital signal processing, as well as to the issues of adaptation and optimization of algorithms for modern observation and diagnostic systems.

The publication of research results in an international scientific publication once again confirms the high level of Khai scientific schools and the active participation of the university in the development of promising areas of information technology, computer vision and intelligent systems.
