Together with the leadership of Khai and the management of the Student Campus, the objects of assistance were identified - the KhAI-12 dormitory, where families of internally displaced persons from the border areas of the Kharkiv region currently live.
With the support of the CDCS donor, the Solidarités International team installed a drinking water filtration system in the dormitory (they are in the photo).
In addition, maintenance of the water purification systems was carried out in the KhAI-10 and KhAI-6 dormitories - membranes and filter elements were replaced, and the necessary materials were transferred for the further operation of the equipment.
The possibility of installing a more powerful filtration system in the KhAI-10 dormitory is also currently being considered. The decision on this project is being worked out together with partners.
Clean drinking water is not just a household convenience.
For families who have experienced evacuation and loss of their homes, such things become an important part of the feeling of stability and care.
