In September, Ukraine will host the IV Civil Society Week — an annual initiative designed to unite organizations and active citizens around the development of civil society.
This year, the Week will last from September 14 to 20, 2026, as part of the implementation of the National Strategy for Promoting the Development of Civil Society in Ukraine. The partners of the initiative are the Secretariat of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine and the Center for Democracy and the Rule of Law (CEDEM).
Universities, local governments, public and other interested organizations can join the Week by holding their own public events within the initiative.
So if KhAI has an idea for an event that corresponds to the theme of the Week, it can be submitted to the general program.
For organizers: the event registration form must be filled out by September 8, 2026.
For participants: those who want to join the Week and receive a digest with event announcements can register by September 9, 2026.
The organizers' materials also state that the initiative page provides relevant forms for organizers and participants.
For Khai, this is another opportunity to present university initiatives to a wide audience and join the all-Ukrainian dialogue on the development of an active civil society.
