For a long time now, the library of the Vysochansk Village Council in the Kharkiv District has been home to the most aerospace-oriented branch of the KhAI—a veritable workshop of dreams and wings, the Da Vinci Children's Club.
Under the guidance of experienced aircraft builders — Professor of the Department of Aircraft Strength Vladislav DEMENKO and Associate Professor, Scientific Secretary of the Kharkiv Aviation Institute Tetyana BONDAREVA — a real forge of future conquerors of the sky and space works here every week.
Even during school holidays, the club does not stop working. Creative ideas know no weekends — they need to be realized.
Flights were scheduled for January 8. But all aviators know what weather conditions are like. Unfavorable weather forced them to temporarily put the planes in “hangars” and focus on engineering work and scientific growth — which is exactly what happened at the Vysochansk Library.
The program included:
- an educational film about lift,
- training flights on copter drones in a confined space,
- assembly of mechanical structures,
- physical research and experiments.
Interesting, modern, exciting — just like the Da Vinci Kids club knows how to work.
