How does interest in engineering arise?
It all starts with an exciting excursion, where theory becomes living practice. The protected, modern space of the Faculty of Aircraft Engineering of KhAI — a virtual reality laboratory and a 3D printing center — have become real portals to the future for young guests.
Here, right before our eyes, 3D models are born, which later turn into real works of engineering art. These are things that can be held in your hands, disassembled to the last detail, and reassembled. The main thing is that they work! From small key chains to complex radio-controlled cars and models of equipment.
And for dessert — a real aviation simulator! The opportunity to feel like a pilot of a passenger liner or a sports aircraft gives unforgettable emotions.
Today, a friendly team of 5th graders from Kharkiv Lyceum No. 161 "Impulse" visited KhAI. And although the entrance exams are still a few years away, we are sure: today we saw the future creators of the aerospace industry.
