In the shelter of the local cultural center, high school students from two leading educational institutions of the Rohansk settlement community — Rohansk Lyceum and Rohansk Academic Lyceum — gathered.
This is the third meeting of KhAI teachers and scientists with the youth of Rohansk since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, and each of them traditionally arouses considerable interest.
The reasons for this are the relaxed format of communication, when serious things are talked about simply and interestingly, the opportunity to virtually walk along the university paths, as well as quests, competitions, gifts and prize draws.
The boys and girls were convinced that science can be alive, exciting and closer than it seems.
They saw a model turbojet engine, a cutaway model of a Rolls-Royce Trent 900 with rotating fan assemblies, a Stirling engine with a generator, a holographic projector, bionic robots, AR painting, and were also able to test a currency detector and banknote counter in action.
The event was organized by the education department of the Rohansk village council and the department of pre-university education of Khai with the assistance of the university management.
