What should a modern university be like? One where everyone feels comfortable, has equal opportunities for learning, development, and communication. This is what was discussed during the webinar “Barrier-free space as a new social norm,” which was joined by representatives of KhAI.
The event was held as part of the psychoeducational project “Mental Health Training School” for representatives of higher education institutions.
The participants discussed how to make the educational space truly open and accessible to everyone, why inclusive communication is an integral part of modern education, and what practical steps help create a university environment without barriers — physical, informational, and social.
New knowledge and practical recommendations will help to further implement the principles of barrier-free education, develop an inclusive culture, and make the educational environment even more comfortable for each member of the university community.

The webinar was held within the framework of the All-Ukrainian Mental Health Program "How Are You?", initiated by the First Lady of Ukraine Olena ZELENSKAYA. The program is implemented by the Coordination Center for Mental Health of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine with expert support from the World Health Organization.
