An official awarding ceremony took place in Kyiv for the laureates of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Prize for Young Scientists — one of the most prestigious state awards for significant scientific achievements.
It is especially gratifying that representatives of the National Aerospace University “Kharkiv Aviation Institute” are among the laureates.
During the ceremony, young scientists had the opportunity to discuss topical issues of the development of Ukrainian science with Serhii Babak, Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Education, Science, and Innovations. Ruslan Stefanchuk, Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, addressed the laureates with a welcoming speech, personally presented honorary diplomas and badges, and spoke with the young scientists after the official events.
High state awards were received by scientists from the Faculty of Radio Electronics, Computer Systems, and Infocommunications:
- Olha Morozova — Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor at the Department of Cybersecurity and Intellectual Information Technologies;
- Oleh Illiashenko — Candidate of Technical Sciences, Doctoral Candidate at the Department of Cybersecurity and Intellectual Information Technologies.
The prize was awarded for the series of scientific researches “Methods, Technologies for Ensuring Cybersecurity, and Implementation of Intelligent Industrial Internet of Things Systems.” The work combines fundamental research with practical solutions in the field of cybersecurity and modern intelligent technologies, which are of vital importance for the development of Ukraine's digital infrastructure.
Sincere congratulations to Olha Morozova and Oleh Illiashenko on receiving this honorary state award!
Despite all today's challenges, KhAI scientists continue to create new knowledge, develop modern technologies, and strengthen the authority of Ukrainian science in the world. We are proud of you and wish you new discoveries, bold ideas, and new victories!
