The University was visited by the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Ukraine to the Republic of Azerbaijan Yurii GUSEV.
During the visit, the diplomat got acquainted with the educational and scientific and technical potential of KhAI, its modern infrastructure and promising developments. University representatives demonstrated educational and research laboratories, aviation models, equipment for prototyping and 3D printing, virtual reality technologies and other modern solutions used in the educational process and scientific activities.
Special attention during the meeting was paid to the development of international academic cooperation between Ukraine and Azerbaijan.
Yurii GUSEV expressed support for the university's project to implement a double diploma program together with the Azerbaijani aviation higher education institution. It was noted that such initiatives contribute to the deepening of partnership between universities of the two countries, expand opportunities for students and teachers, and create conditions for the exchange of educational and scientific experience.
The participants of the meeting also discussed the prospects for the implementation of joint educational and scientific and technical projects, the development of academic exchanges and the deepening of cooperation in the field of aviation, engineering and modern digital technologies.
The Ambassador got acquainted with the material and technical base of the university and the presented developments, and also emphasized the importance of further developing Ukrainian-Azerbaijani ties in the field of education, science and innovations.
The visit was an important step in strengthening partnership relations and opens up new opportunities for the implementation of joint Ukrainian-Azerbaijani educational and scientific initiatives.
