All-Ukrainian Scientific and Practical Conference "Psychology in the Modern World" 2026

On April 8–9, the annual All-Ukrainian Scientific and Practical Conference of Higher Education Students and Young Scientists “Psychology in the Modern World” was held in the safe space of KhAI.

This year, the event brought together almost 60 participants — students, young scientists and practitioners from various universities of Ukraine. Among them — representatives of the Kharkiv National Pedagogical University named after G. S. Skovoroda, Kharkiv National Pedagogical University named after V. N. Karazin, Kherson State Agrarian and Economic University, Lviv Polytechnic National University and Oleksandr Dovzhenko Glukhiv National Pedagogical University named after Oleksandr Dovzhenko.

The participants were welcomed by the Vice-Rector for Scientific Work Svitlana DOMBROVSKA, wishing everyone inspiration and fruitful work.

Active discussions began already during the plenary session. The topics covered a wide range — from engineering and aviation and space psychology and labor psychology to medical, gender psychology and developmental psychology. Significant attention was also paid to current challenges: the problems of modern education, socialization of students in crisis conditions, as well as the practices of psychological counseling and psychocorrection during war.

The second day, April 9, was more practical in nature. Specialists of the Department of Psychology held master classes where they shared important knowledge and tools. In particular, Svitlana ZHARIKOVA spoke about mental health in war conditions, Yevgenia YAKUSHEVA - about how communication changes under the influence of stress, and Maksym ZHYDKO - about the features of providing psychological assistance in conditions of cognitive wars.

These two days became a space for lively communication, exchange of experience and new ideas. Participants not only shared knowledge, but also found inspiration for further scientific research.

The organizers sincerely thank everyone for their active participation. Despite the war and all the difficulties, scientific life at the university continues — and it is events like this that confirm this.
