The Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine has published the calendar plans for conducting entrance examinations for admission to master's and postgraduate studies in 2026. Entrance examinations will be held using external independent assessment technologies.
ENTRANCE TO MASTER'S DEGREE
A single entrance examination (EE) is mandatory for applicants, which includes:
- General Academic Competence Test (GACT);
- Foreign language test.
A single professional entrance examination (EFVV) is also provided for certain specialties.
Main stages of admission:
Registration:
- April 23 – May 14 (main period)
- May 26–28 (additional period)
Main testing session:
- June 26 – July 14
Additional session:
- August 3 – 21
The results of the main session are planned to be published by July 23.
ENTRY TO POSTGRADUATE STUDY
For applicants to obtain a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) or Doctor of Arts degree, the following are provided:
- passing the EVI;
- exam in scientific research methodology.
Exam dates:
Main session:
- July 14 – 29
Additional session:
- August 24 – 28.
Invitations-passes for testing will appear in the personal accounts of participants:
- by June 19 — for the main session;
- by July 28 — for the additional one.
