Representatives of KhAI successfully completed the training course “Academy of Mental Health”, which was held within the framework of the project “Supporting the Development of Mental Health Programs in Ukrainian Universities – Promoting the Mental Well-being of Youth”.
The aim of the course was to raise awareness among employees of higher education institutions about the most common challenges in the field of mental health of student youth, as well as to prepare participants to conduct educational work at their universities.

Mykola FEDORENKO – Head of the Laboratory of the Department of Distance Educational Technologies;
Lyudmila VOLNYKH – Category I methodologist of the Department of Education Quality, Analytics and Educational and Methodological Support;
Olena BARZDUN – Acting Head of the Department of Education Quality, Analytics and Educational and Methodological Support;
Olga OKHRAMOVYCH – Category I methodologist of the Department of Education Quality, Analytics and Educational and Methodological Support.
As a result of the training, the participants gained practical knowledge and mastered modern tools for organizing educational events on mental health issues, supporting student youth, and implementing effective practices of psychological support in the university environment.
KhAI’s participation in the program will be an important step for the further development of the psychosocial support system at the university, the creation of a safe and inclusive educational environment, and the strengthening of a culture of caring for the mental well-being of all participants in the educational process.
The implementation of the All-Ukrainian Mental Health Program “How Are You?” is supported by the Coordination Center for Mental Health of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine with expert support from the World Health Organization. The public organization “Bezbariernist” is an implementation partner of the All-Ukrainian Mental Health Program.
