National Aerospace University "Kharkiv Aviation Institute" opens a new stage of development: the Supervisory Board has been established.
National Aerospace University "Kharkiv Aviation Institute" has taken an important strategic step towards strengthening institutional capacity, developing partnerships with the state, business and the scientific community. By order of the Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine dated 23.07.2026 No. 1228, the Supervisory Board was established - a strategic management body that united leading representatives of industry, science, high-tech business, the defense sector of Ukraine, etc.
The Supervisory Board includes heads of leading Ukrainian enterprises, international IT companies, representatives of academic science, the defense-industrial complex and state authorities, whose professional experience and strategic vision will contribute to the implementation of the university's ambitious goals.
The Supervisory Board was headed by Viktor IVANCHYK — General Director of LLC Firm "ASTARTA-KYIV". The Deputy Chairman of the Supervisory Board was Igor Anatoliyovych SHYPUL, Director of LLC "Kharkiv Machine-Building Plant "FED". Natalia DEMCHENKO — lawyer and individual entrepreneur — was elected Secretary of the Supervisory Board.
The Supervisory Board also included:

Valery DEMA — Director of LLC "SigmaBleyzer Ukraine", Vice President of SigmaBleyzer Investment Group;
Andriy KOSTIKOV — Deputy Director for Scientific Work of the A. M. Pidhorny Institute of Power Machines and Systems of the NAS of Ukraine;
Valeriy KRASOVSKY — Executive Director of Sigma Software Group;
Oleksandr LIPOVY — Commander of the military unit;
Oleksandr MEDOVOY — President and CEO of AltexSoft Inc;
Vitaliy NEMILOSTIVY — Honorary Chairman of the Corporation “UKRINNMASH”;
Viktor POPOV — Chairman of the Board of JSC “FED”;
Yuriy TORBA — Deputy General Director for Scientific and Experimental and Testing Work of JSC “Ivchenko-Progress”;
Anatoliy YAREMENKO — General Director of the State Scientific and Production Enterprise “Communar Association”.
By uniting leaders of Ukrainian industry, high-tech business, science, defense and the public sector, the Supervisory Board will become a powerful platform for forming a strategic vision for the development of the university, strengthening its competitiveness, expanding international cooperation, attracting investments and implementing large-scale innovative projects.
The formation of the Supervisory Board opens up new opportunities for the development of the National Aerospace University "Kharkiv Aviation Institute" as a world-class university capable of forming an engineering elite, creating advanced technologies and making a significant contribution to the recovery, security and technological future of Ukraine.
