The National Aerospace University “Kharkiv Aviation Institute” has received official confirmation of the appointment of the head of the institution.
In accordance with the order of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, Oleksii LYTVYNOV has been appointed as the rector of KhAI.
The decision was made based on the results of a competition and elections among the university staff.
The contract with the newly appointed rector was concluded for a period of five years - from April 21, 2026 to April 20, 2031.
This appointment opens a new stage in the development of the leading aerospace university - in a difficult time for the country, when KhAI not only preserves its traditions, but also strengthens its role as a scientific and educational center working for the future of Ukraine.
The order was made public during a working visit to KhAI by the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, Oleh SYNIEHUBOV, who was one of the first to congratulate Oleksii LYTVYNOV and the university staff.
