The University Planning and Finance Department (PFD) is a structural unit that ensures planning, accounting, and analysis of the financial activities of the educational institution.
Main functions of the Planning and Finance Department:
- Budget preparation: drafting and monitoring the implementation of the university’s main financial plan, both for the general state budget fund and the special fund (tuition fees, rental income, etc.);
- Staffing plan: development and control of the staffing schedule, calculation of the number of academic and administrative positions in accordance with established standards;
- Expenditure analysis: monitoring the use of funds for salaries, utilities, scholarships, and material and technical support;
- Reporting: preparation of financial and statistical reports for the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine and other government authorities;
- Pricing of services: calculation of the cost of tuition for fee-paying students, accommodation in dormitories, and additional educational services.
