Limited Liability Company "Leoni Wiring Systems UA GmbH" in Ukraine (wholly owned by the concern "Leoni AG" (Nuremberg, Germany)) is located in the village of Nezhukhiv, Stryi District, Lviv Oblast, and has been operating since July 15, 2003. The plant, built in a record time of 11 months, manufactures electrical cable harnesses for General Motors vehicles (supplying "Opel Astra" and "Opel Zafira" cars), Porsche ("Boxster", "Carrera 911", and "Cayenne" models), DaimlerChrysler, Lamborghini, BMW, Volkswagen ("Golf", "Jetta", and "Touran"), Audi, and Honda. Components arrive mostly from Germany, France, Spain, and the United Kingdom, while the finished products are shipped to Germany, Belgium, the United Kingdom, and Poland.
