On December 11–12, 2026, the National Aerospace University «Kharkiv Aviation Institute» will host the International Scientific and Technical Conference «Kryvtsov Readings: Aerospace Science, Technologies, and Education».
The event is dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the birth of Professor Volodymyr Stanislavovych KRYVTSOV — scientist, educator, science manager, and Rector of KhAI from 1998 to 2017.
The conference will provide an opportunity to honor the memory and scientific legacy of Volodymyr KRYVTSOV, as well as to continue the tradition he established of developing scientific schools, training scientific personnel, and passing on experience from generation to generation. Indeed, the continuity of generations, the preservation of scientific traditions, and the development of modern aerospace science are defined as primary goals of the conference.
CONFERENCE SECTIONS:
- teachers and mentors: figures, scientific ideas, traditions, and the development of generations of scientists;
- Professor V. S. Kryvtsov: scientific heritage and development of KhAI through the continuity of generations;
- KhAI scientific schools: prominent scientific figures, establishment, scientific contribution, and modern research;
- aerodynamics, strength, and design;
- engines, materials, and technologies;
- operation and safety;
- control systems, avionics, and unmanned systems;
- information and intelligent technologies;
- economics and management;
- humanities, law, and education.
Postgraduate students, young scientists, faculty members, and researchers of KhAI are especially invited to participate. This is an opportunity to present your own scientific work, discuss research results with colleagues, and become part of the scientific tradition carried forward by new generations of Kharkiv scientists.
