ANNOUNCES ENROLLMENT IN 2026
FOR MILITARY TRAINING UNDER THE RESERVE OFFICERS PROGRAM
For future 3rd and 5th-year students, an online meeting regarding reserve officer training at the military department with representatives of KNUAF will be held on Thursday, May 7 at 17:00.
ADMISSION OPPORTUNITIES:
- citizens of Ukraine who hold or are pursuing a higher education degree not lower than a Bachelor's degree (students of all study modes from 2nd to 5th (6th) years, graduates of higher education institutions) are eligible to apply for military training.
THE MILITARY RANK OF RESERVE OFFICER WILL ALLOW YOU TO:
- serve under contract in officer positions in the Armed Forces of Ukraine, structures of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the State Emergency Service, the Security Service, the State Border Guard Service, the State Fiscal Service;
- work in state power and management bodies;
- build a more successful career in your civilian specialty.

- no restrictions on the number of female applicants;

- one day a week (considering the class schedule at the student's main place of study) over two years of study;
- during four weeks of daily classes during students' winter vacations;
- according to an individual schedule for students who successfully master the curriculum of military training and the civilian higher education institution;
- convenient location of training venues (central district of the city, near subway stations).
During martial law, the mode of study is REMOTE (DISTANCE LEARNING).
ADMISSION PROCEDURE FOR MILITARY TRAINING
1. Submit an application addressed to the dean of the faculty of the civilian higher education institution, attaching copies of:
- passport of a citizen of Ukraine (front side of the page – pages 1-2; back side – registered address);
- individual tax number card;
- conscription registration certificate (for male applicants).
2. Obtain a referral for a military medical examination from the Department of Contracted Reserve Officers Training (DCROT) of KNUAF. Submit the medical examination certificate to the selection committee of KNUAF.
3. Pass the competitive selection at Ivan Kozhedub KNUAF, which includes tests in:
- pre-conscription training;
- professional and psychological selection;
- physical fitness.
4. Conclude a military training contract at the DCROT of KNUAF.
AWARDING OF MILITARY RANK
The military rank of Junior Lieutenant of the Reserve is awarded to citizens of Ukraine by order of the Minister of Defence of Ukraine after completing the full military training course and holding a higher education degree not lower than a Bachelor's degree.
