Global Undergraduate Exchange Program

The Global Undergraduate Exchange Program (also known as UGRAD) provides one-semester scholarships to outstanding undergraduate students from around the world for full-time study in the United States without earning a degree, combined with community service, professional development, and cultural enrichment.

The Global Undergraduate Exchange Program is open to anyone who:

- is a citizen of Ukraine, who

- resides and studies in Ukraine as a full-time first- or second-year undergraduate student;

- has completed secondary education in their home country;

- is enrolled in a full-time undergraduate program with good academic performance at any university in Ukraine, public or private;

- demonstrates leadership potential through academic work, community involvement, and extracurricular activities;

- has strong written and spoken English skills (English proficiency must be sufficient for studying at a U.S. university);

- is eligible for and can obtain a U.S. student exchange visa (J-1) required to participate in the program;

- intends to return to their home country after completing the program.

Scholarship selection occurs annually from November to December.
