G3 Electrical Engineering

Specialty G3 “Electrical Engineering” is one of the most versatile engineering fields. It prepares specialists engaged in the design, operation, and maintenance of systems for the generation, transmission, and consumption of electrical energy.

The educational program includes theoretical knowledge and practical skills in the following areas:

Power Engineering: methods of energy generation (thermal, nuclear, and hydro power plants) and work with renewable energy sources (solar and wind power plants).

Electrical Engineering: study of electrical and magnetic phenomena for the development of devices and power supply systems.

Electromechanics: principles of operation of electrical machines (motors, generators) and drives.

Energy Efficiency: technologies for energy saving and energy consumption management (energy management).

Graduates of specialty G3 have a wide range of career opportunities in industry, energy companies, and the private sector:

Power Engineer: design and control of enterprise energy systems.

Electromechanic: maintenance of complex industrial equipment and machinery.

Power System Dispatcher: management of electricity distribution in networks.

Renewable Energy Specialist: installation and configuration of solar or wind power plants.

Energy Auditor: analysis of resource consumption and development of energy-saving plans.

Training is carried out at:

- the Department of Mechatronics and Electrical Engineering (305)
