The faculty was founded in 1977.
The modern, dynamic, prestigious, and stable Faculty of Intelligent Control Systems strives toward its primary goal: training specialists across a wide range of fields that meet the demands of the contemporary labor market. As of 2025, the faculty comprises five graduating departments, four branch departments at specialized enterprises, and more than 95 faculty members, providing education for bachelor's, specialist's, master's, postgraduate, and doctoral programs.
The faculty offers 14 educational programs with over 1,000 students, including international students studying in English. The Faculty of Intelligent Control Systems has 15 computer labs and over 20 teaching laboratories, providing students with modern theoretical knowledge and practical skills. Graduates of the faculty successfully work in the USA, Germany, China, Canada, Israel, Poland, Kazakhstan, Ukraine, Russia, and other countries, holding responsible positions in global companies such as Google, Amazon, Samsung Electronics, Philip Morris International, DORMA, Global Logic, and others.
Students actively participate in international academic mobility programs such as ERASMUS MUNDUS, DAAD, UBC, and the Beihang University (China) study program, gaining opportunities to study both in Ukraine and abroad. Talented students receive academic scholarships from the President, the Verkhovna Rada, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, the L.D. Kuchma Foundation, and others.
The Faculty of Intelligent Control Systems also offers opportunities for student development outside the classroom, providing an organizational skills school, fostering leadership qualities, and encouraging participation in celebrations, ceremonies, sports competitions, and student self-government.
