The field of activity of graduates of this specialty includes the theoretical and methodological foundations and the instrumental means for creating and using information systems and technologies; criteria for evaluation and methods for ensuring the quality, reliability, fault tolerance, and survivability of information systems and technologies, as well as models, methods, and tools for optimization and decision-making in the creation and use of information systems and technologies.
The aim of education is to form and develop general and professional competencies in information systems and technologies that promote social resilience and mobility of graduates in the labor market; to provide higher education for the development, implementation, and research of information systems and technologies.
