Research Results
The research was conducted using the "BULAT-6" ion-plasma system.
Scientific tasks addressed within the scope of the study include:
– increasing the service life and reliability of vacuum arc plasma sources;
– developing vacuum arc plasma sources based on the conducted research;
– solving the problem of laser window contamination (dusting) during laser-initiated vacuum arc processes;
– performed microanalysis of droplets;
– Addressing the issue of micro-droplet removal and developing a method and device for micro-droplet elimination.
Research is ongoing.
