The Department of Physics is a core structural unit of the University, operating within the Faculty of Radio Electronics, Computer Systems, and Infocommunications. The Department conducts educational and methodological activities across all technical specialties of the University.

The Department has 9 academic staff members, the majority of whom hold Doctor or Candidate of Technical Sciences degrees. A postgraduate program (PhD) is also offered at the Department.

The high qualifications and active engagement of the Department’s staff, combined with modern laboratory equipment, allow for research in multiple areas, including the physical foundations of electronics and materials science.

The Department also conducts a substantial volume of pre-university training for school students from various regions of Ukraine, including the city of Kharkiv.
