The Department of Higher Mathematics and Systems Analysis of KHAI combines many years of experience in fundamental mathematical training with modern approaches to data analysis, modeling, and systems analysis. Today, the Department is an educational and research center that trains specialists capable of working with mathematical methods and information technologies.
The Department provides education in the specialty F4 “Systems Analysis and Data Science”, educational program “Systems Analysis and Control”, and also delivers mathematical courses to students of various specialties at KHAI. For those who wish to continue their academic careers, the Department offers PhD training under the educational and research program “Applied Mathematics.”
The academic staff of the Department has extensive expertise in such fields as mathematical analysis, probability theory, differential equations, optimization, computational mathematics, modeling, and systems analysis. They combine teaching with research activities and cooperation with universities, academic institutes, and IT companies, enabling students to work on real-world problems and apply modern methods.
The material and technical facilities of the Department include computer classrooms, access to specialized software, and modeling tools. The educational process integrates theoretical courses with practical classes, laboratory work, and project-based learning.
Research activity is an important part of the Department’s work. Students and postgraduate researchers are involved in studies in mathematical analysis, stochastic processes, differential equations, computational mathematics, optimization, and complex systems modeling. Participation in research groups, competitions, and conferences helps them gain professional experience and develop research skills.
Graduates of the Department work in IT, data analytics, finance, logistics, telecommunications, engineering, and economic modeling. The knowledge they acquire enables them to successfully build careers in fields that require analytical thinking, strong mathematical training, and the ability to work with data.
