The Department of Ecology and Technogenic Safety is a degree-granting department in the specialty E2 “Ecology”. It trains highly qualified specialists in environmental protection.
The educational programs comply with international standards, employer requirements, and modern technological trends in organizing environmentally safe operations of enterprises and ensuring environmental control. The curriculum combines mastery of environmental management systems at enterprises across various industries with competencies in environmental monitoring, forecasting environmental conditions, and ensuring sustainable socio-ecological development of the country.
Students have the opportunity to undertake internships at leading enterprises, government environmental protection agencies, and research organizations in Ukraine. They also participate in competitions and conferences at various levels and can publish the results of their research during their studies. The knowledge and skills provided allow graduates to adapt to practical challenges already during their studies and ensure successful employment.
