General Characteristics of the Scientific School
The academic school of Andriy Diegtiar is an established academic field covering the specializations 25.00.02 – Mechanisms of Public Administration and 281 – Public Administration and Management, based on the long-standing research and teaching activities of the Doctor of Science in Public Administration, Professor, and Honored Worker of Science and Technology of Ukraine. The research school’s activities are aimed at substantiating the theoretical and methodological foundations and developing practical recommendations regarding public administration in the socio-economic sphere, information security, and environmental safety; state regulation of socio-economic processes; information-analytical and organizational support for the adoption and implementation of public management decisions; and the digitalization of public management and administration.
Founder of the Scientific School

Andriy Diegtiar (born February 5, 1957) is a Ukrainian scholar in the field of public administration, a systems engineer, Candidate of Economic Sciences (1987), Doctor of Science in Public Administration (2005), Distinguished Educator of Ukraine (2005), and professor (2006), Honored Worker of Science and Technology of Ukraine (2017), and professor in the Department of Economics and Public Administration at the National Aerospace University “Kharkiv Aviation Institute”.

Scientific Achievements and Results
Under the academic supervision of Professor Andriy Diegtiar, 6 doctoral dissertations and 40 master’s theses have been successfully defended in the field of 25.00.02—Mechanisms of Public Administration, and a large number of bachelor’s and master’s theses have been successfully defended. Representatives of the research school actively participate in regulatory, expert, and advisory activities at the national and regional levels.

The founder of the research school has published over 300 scientific publications, including indexed articles in Scopus and Web of Science databases; multiple conference proceedings and applied research outputs. Andriy Diegtiar is a full member of the Academy of Public Administration Sciences and has been an Academician since 2018. He is a member of the All-Ukrainian Assembly of Doctors of Science in Public Administration.
