1. General Provisions

1.1. The Regulations on the Scientific and Technical Club "Aviation Modeling and Research of Small Unmanned Aerial Vehicles" (hereinafter referred to as the Club) under the Laboratory of Technical Creativity of Students of the Student Design Bureau of the National Aerospace University "Kharkiv Aviation Institute" (hereinafter referred to as the University) have been developed in accordance with the Laws of Ukraine "On Higher Education", "On Scientific and Scientific-Technical Activity", the University Statute, as well as other current legislative and regulatory acts of Ukraine and the University.

1.2. The Scientific and Technical Club "Aviation Modeling and Research of Small Unmanned Aerial Vehicles" (hereinafter referred to as the Club) is a voluntary organizational association of persons created for the purpose of developing scientific and technical creativity, conducting research in the field of aviation modeling, aerodynamics, design, and manufacturing technology of small unmanned aerial vehicles.

1.3. The Club functions under the Laboratory of Technical Creativity of Students of the Student Design Bureau of the National Aerospace University "Kharkiv Aviation Institute" (hereinafter referred to as LTTS SKB) and carries out its activities within the framework of the educational, scientific, and career guidance activities of the University.

1.4. The activities of the Club are aimed at the development of technical creativity, engineering thinking, involving youth in scientific and technical activities, popularizing aviation science, aviation modeling, and modern technologies in the field of small unmanned aerial vehicles.

1.5. In its activities, the Club is guided by the legislation of Ukraine, the University Statute, the Regulations on LTTS SKB, the Regulations on SKB KhAI, internal regulatory acts of the University, decisions of the governing bodies of the University, as well as these Regulations.

1.6. The activities of the Club are carried out on the principles of voluntariness, equality of participants, openness, scientificity, innovativeness, and the combination of scientific activity with the educational process.

1.7. Participants of the Club can be higher education seekers, University employees, schoolchildren, University graduates, as well as other persons who have expressed an interest in the activities of the Club and wish to take part in its work.

1.8. The Club can interact with departments, faculties, scientific units of the University, educational institutions, scientific institutions, public organizations, and other institutions within the framework of current legislation and regulatory documents of the University.

2. Purpose and Main Tasks

2.1. The purpose of the Club's activities is the development of scientific and technical creativity and engineering thinking, involving specialists, students, youth, and other interested persons in research and design activities in the field of aviation modeling, design, and operation of small unmanned aerial vehicles, acquiring practical skills in research, design, and experimental work by participants, deepening scientific research in the field of aviation modeling and unmanned aerial vehicles, and expanding the general and professional worldview of the Club participants.

2.2. The main tasks of the Club's activities are:

- development of technical, engineering, and research competencies in participants in the field of aviation modeling and unmanned aerial vehicles;

- formation of interest in scientific and technical activities, teaching methods and approaches to conducting research and solving engineering problems;

- development of skills in independent search, design, and research work;

- execution of research, experimental, and design works in the field of aviation modeling and small unmanned aerial vehicles;

- design, manufacture, testing, and improvement of aircraft models and unmanned aerial vehicles;

- preparation and participation in scientific conferences, exhibitions, competitions of scientific works, technical and sports competitions, and other scientific and technical events;

- exchange of experience between Club participants;

- involving students, teachers, scientists, specialists of enterprises, organizations, and institutions in joint scientific and technical activities;

- popularization of aviation science, technology, aviation modeling, and modern technologies in the field of unmanned aerial vehicles;

- participation in conducting career guidance work of the University among schoolchildren and youth;

- promoting the development of a culture of academic integrity in scientific activity;

- organization and holding of scientific and technical events, master classes, training sessions, demonstration performances, and other events aimed at the development of technical creativity.

2.3. The work of the Club is aimed at fulfilling the tasks of the educational, scientific, and career guidance activities of the University, as well as implementing the areas of scientific and technical creativity and research in the field of aviation modeling and unmanned aerial vehicles.

2.4. The tasks of the Club are implemented through the organization of training sessions, exercises, research and design works, experimental studies using modern information technologies, engineering design methods, and technical means.

3. Functions and Organization of Work

3.1. The creation of the scientific and technical club "Aviation Modeling and Research of Small Unmanned Aerial Vehicles", the main areas of its activity, and the work plan are determined in accordance with the scientific and technical topics of LTTS SKB and approved by the Head of the Club.

3.2. To organize the activities of the Club according to the thematic focus, working groups may be created whose activities are related to specific areas of the Club's work, in particular aviation modeling, design, aerodynamics research, operation, and testing of unmanned aerial vehicles.

3.3. General management of the Club's activities is carried out by the Head of the Club.

The Head of the Club is appointed from among scientific-pedagogical employees, University staff, or specialists who have relevant experience in the field of aviation equipment, aviation modeling, or unmanned aerial vehicles.

3.4. To coordinate the activities of the club, the following may be elected:

- Chairman of the Club - a person from among the Club participants who coordinates the activities of the Club participants and promotes the organization of joint work;

- Deputy Chairman of the Club - a person who assists the Chairman of the Club in organizing the activities of the Club;

- heads of working groups - persons who coordinate the activities of Club participants in respective areas of work.

3.5. Participation in the Club is voluntary.

3.6. Information and career guidance activities of the Club may include:

- holding popular science lectures, master classes, and demonstration classes on aviation modeling;

- participation in career guidance events of the University;

- holding demonstration performances, flight demonstrations of aircraft models and unmanned aerial vehicles;

- participation in popularizing aviation science and technology among schoolchildren and youth;

- dissemination of information about the Club's activities through the official information resources of the University and social networks.

3.7. The Club can cooperate with educational and scientific units of the University, educational institutions, scientific organizations, enterprises, and public organizations for the purpose of developing scientific and technical activities.

3.8. In its activities, the Club interacts with other structural subdivisions of the University within their competence and in accordance with internal regulatory documents of the University.

3.9. To fulfill its tasks, the Club can participate in the organization and holding of information, scientific, educational, and other events, exhibitions, competitions, and sports tournaments.

4. Functions of the Head, Chairman, and Deputy Chairman

4.1. The Head of the Club is obliged to perform the following functions:

- organize the activities of the Club in accordance with these Regulations; - develop and approve the work plan of the Club, as well as exercise control over its implementation;

- organize and conduct training sessions, exercises, master classes, and other activities of the Club;

- ensure the organization and safe execution of classes, exercises, and experimental works;

- promote the attraction of new participants to the activities of the Club;

- organize the participation of Club members in scientific conferences, exhibitions, technical competitions, aviation modeling tournaments, and other scientific and technical events;

- coordinate the work of Club members during the execution of design, research, and experimental works;

- promote the development of the material and technical base of the Club;

- submit information about the Club's activities to the University management or relevant structural subdivisions when necessary;

- resolve other issues related to the organization of the Club's activities.

4.2. The Chairman of the Club is obliged to perform the following functions:

- promote the organization of the Club's activities and interaction among its members;

- keep records of Club members;

- assist the Head of the Club in preparing work plans and reports on the Club's activities;

- ensure informing Club members about planned events and classes;

- promote the implementation of the Club's work plan.

4.3. The Deputy Chairman of the Club is obliged to perform the following functions:

- assist the Chairman of the Club in the performance of their duties;

- ensure communication between Club members;

- participate in the organization of Club events;

- perform the duties of the Chairman of the Club in their absence.

4.4. The heads of the Club's working groups are obliged to perform the following functions:

- coordinate the activities of Club members in the respective area of work;

- organize the execution of design, research, and experimental works within the scope of the respective area;

- distribute tasks among sector members and control their execution;

- promote the development of the technical and scientific activities of the Club.

5. Membership in the Club

5.1. The Club functions on the principles of voluntary and free membership.

5.2. Participants of the Club can be higher education seekers of the University, employees, University graduates, schoolchildren, as well as other persons who show interest in aviation modeling, aviation equipment, and research in the field of small unmanned aerial vehicles.

5.3. Admission to the Club is carried out upon an application by an individual or through their oral request to the Head of the Club.

5.4. In their activities, Club members are guided by the norms of scientific, technical, and professional ethics, and also comply with the requirements of academic integrity.

5.5. Club members have the right to:

- participate in the scientific, technical, design, and research activities of the Club;

- participate in the preparation and implementation of scientific, educational, and technical projects;

- publish the results of their scientific and technical activities in scientific publications and conference proceedings;

- participate in scientific conferences, technical competitions, exhibitions, olympiads, and aviation modeling tournaments;

- use the material and technical base of the Club in accordance with established rules;

- participate in the election of the Chairman of the Club and other organizational positions of the Club.

5.6. Club members are obliged to:

- comply with these Regulations and internal rules of the University;

- comply with safety regulations during classes, training sessions, and experimental works;

- participate in the activities of the Club and events organized within the framework of its work;

- promote the development of the Club and the popularization of its activities;

- treat the equipment and material-technical base of the Club with care.

5.7. Membership in the Club is terminated:

- at the member's own will;

- in case of systematic violation of the requirements of these Regulations;

- in case of violation of safety rules or the internal regulations of the University.

6. Main Forms of Club Activities

6.1. The Club carries out its activities on a permanent basis in the form of training sessions, exercises, research, and design works.

6.2. The main forms of the Club's work are:

- conducting training sessions and practical exercises in aviation modeling;

- performing research and experimental works in the field of aviation modeling and unmanned aerial vehicles;

- design, manufacture, and testing of aircraft models and unmanned aerial vehicles;

- preparation and participation in scientific conferences, technical competitions, exhibitions, and tournaments;

- conducting popular science lectures, master classes, and demonstration events;

- participation in the career guidance activities of the University.

6.3. Meetings and classes of the Club are held in accordance with the approved schedule and can take place both in the premises of the University and at specially designated sites for conducting training sessions and flight demonstrations of aircraft models.

7. Documentation of Club Activities

7.1. The main documents regulating the activities of the Club are:

- these Regulations;

- the work plan of the Club for the academic year;

- the list of Club members;

- reports on the activities of the Club.

7.2. The work plan of the Club is drawn up by the Head of the Club at the beginning of the academic year and can be adjusted during the year depending on the needs of the Club's activities.

7.3. Based on the results of the Club's activities, a report can be drawn up on the events held, research results, and participation in scientific and technical events.

8. Control and Coordination of Club Activities

8.1. General control over the activities of the Club is exercised by the Head of the Club and relevant structural subdivisions of the University within their competence.

8.2. Organizational coordination of the Club's activities can be carried out by the Chairman of the Club and other responsible persons determined in accordance with these Regulations.

9. Concluding Provisions

9.1. These Regulations on the Club were developed by the Head of the Laboratory of Technical Creativity of Students of SKB KhAI, checked by the Acting Head of the Student Design Bureau of the University, agreed upon with the Head of the Legal Department and the Vice-Rector for Scientific Work of the University.

9.2. The Regulations on the Club are approved by the Academic Council of the University and put into effect by an order of the Rector.

9.3. Amendments and/or additions to these Regulations are made in the manner established for its adoption.
