About Us

The Department of Student and Graduate Employment Assistance at the National Aerospace University "Kharkiv Aviation Institute" was established based on the Order of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine No. 1726-р dated August 27, 2010.

Main goal of the department:

- to assist students and graduates of the university in finding employment;

- to enhance the competitiveness of students and graduates in the labor market and help them adapt to practical work;

- to monitor the career development of the university's graduates.

Department staff establish and maintain contacts with potential employers to facilitate further employment of students and graduates.

Our mission:

- to ensure that every graduate secures a decent job that allows them to apply their knowledge and potential.

Key areas of activity:

- organizing meetings between employers and students/graduates regarding employment opportunities; conducting job fairs, master classes, training sessions, and company presentations;

- assisting students and graduates in finding employment in their fields of study at enterprises in Kharkiv, the region, and other regions of Ukraine;

- establishing business relationships between the university and enterprises, institutions, and organizations (employers) regarding student and graduate employment;

- creating a database of current and potential employers and facilitating the prompt filling of vacancies;

- establishing and maintaining contacts with university alumni, monitoring their employment and career growth;

- concluding agreements for students to participate in all types of internships and practical training, monitoring their completion, and analyzing the results.

The Department of Student and Graduate Employment Assistance informs faculties and departments about:

- vacancies for university graduates;

- temporary employment opportunities for students of all university years;

- activities aimed at facilitating employment for graduates and temporary student employment (job fairs, presentations, master classes, etc.);

- events organized for faculty members by companies to establish connections between companies and the teaching environment, helping to identify common issues and find ways to improve education.
