The objects of activity for graduates of this specialty are theoretical and methodological foundations and instrumental tools for the creation and use of information systems and technologies; evaluation criteria and methods for ensuring quality, reliability, fault tolerance, and survivability of information systems and technologies, as well as models, methods, and tools for optimization and decision-making during the development and application of information systems and technologies.

The goal of training is the formation and development of general and professional competencies in information systems and technologies that promote social stability and mobility of the graduate in the labor market; obtaining higher education for the development, implementation, and research of information systems and technologies.
