The objects of activity for graduates of this specialty are language(s) (in theoretical/practical, synchronous/diachronic, dialectological, stylistic, sociocultural, and other aspects); literature and oral folk creativity; genre and style varieties of texts; translation; interpersonal, intercultural, and mass communication in oral and written forms.

The goal of training is to prepare specialists capable of solving complex specialized tasks and practical problems in the field of philology characterized by complexity and uncertainty of conditions, namely in activities related to the analysis, creation (including translation), and evaluation of written and oral texts of various genres and styles, organizing successful communication in different languages, as well as those capable of solving complex tasks and problems involving research and/or innovation under uncertain conditions and requirements in activities related to the analysis, creation, and evaluation of texts and communication.
