The National Aerospace University "Kharkiv Aviation Institute" held a public defense of Artur MALYUGA's dissertation for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD).
The topic of the dissertation research is "Model and methods of personalized adaptation of the driver training process in educational software systems of driving schools".
Scientific supervisor is Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor, Professor of the Department of Software Engineering (603) of Kharkiv Aviation Institute Igor SHOSTAK.
The dissertation research is devoted to the development of a software system that adapts the driver training process to the individual needs of the user. It takes into account the level of knowledge, the complexity of educational tasks and the current state of the person during training.
The proposed solutions make it possible to make training more personalized and effective, in particular, to take into account cognitive overload during the acquisition of material.
The results of the research have already been used by Dev-Optima LLC when creating software tools for information support of driver training in driving schools.
Artur MALYUGA graduated from Kharkiv Institute of Technology in 2021 with a degree in Power Engineering. In 2022–2026, he studied at the university's postgraduate school.
The public defense of the dissertation took place on August 13 in a remote format. Based on the results of the discussion, the one-time specialized academic council of the DF 77 decided to award Artur MALYUGA with the scientific degree of Doctor of Philosophy in the field of knowledge 12 "Information Technologies" in the specialty 121 "Software Engineering".
