Representatives of the National Aerospace University "Kharkiv Aviation Institute" took part in an event dedicated to the development of the technological and IT sphere of Ukraine, cooperation between the state, business and education, and support for front-line regions.
The opening of the event and the award ceremony were attended by the head of the Kharkiv Regional Administrative Organization Oleg Synegubov, the head of the Kharkiv Regional Council Tetyana Yegorova-Lutsenko, and the mayor of Kharkiv Igor Terekhov.
During the main discussion, which was joined by the representative of the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine Oksana Ferchuk, they talked about the development of technological entrepreneurship, cooperation between the state and business, attracting investments, supporting innovative projects, and retaining specialists in front-line regions.
The role of universities in this ecosystem was discussed separately - in particular, cooperation with business, the development of modern laboratories, and the creation of conditions for the emergence and development of new technological solutions.
KhAI, as always, was represented not only by its team, but also by its graduates. Today, they head technology companies and work on developments that are of practical importance for Ukraine.
One of the results of the meeting was an agreement on cooperation in creating software simulators for training UAV operators. Joint work on research and development of monitoring systems using drone complexes and ground robotic platforms is also planned.
Among the organizers of the event is the EDIH project team, the Eastern Ukrainian Digital Innovation Hub. KhAI is one of its initiators and executors together with the Kharkiv IT Cluster and KhNURE.
For KhAI, such meetings are not just an exchange of ideas. They are new contacts, partnerships with business, opportunities to attract investments and implement joint Ukrainian and international projects.
And most importantly, the opportunity to turn university developments into real technological solutions that Ukraine needs today.
