125 Cyber Security and Information Protection

Specialty 125 «Cybersecurity and Information Protection» prepares specialists in identifying, preventing, and neutralizing threats in the digital space, protecting the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of data, as well as building comprehensive security systems.

Main Study Areas:

Network and Computer Systems Security: infrastructure protection against external attacks, Intrusion Detection and Prevention Systems (IDS/IPS), firewalls, and cloud environment security.

Vulnerability Analysis and Ethical Hacking (Penetration Testing): penetration testing, finding vulnerabilities in code and configurations before attackers exploit them.

Cryptographic and Technical Protection: data encryption, digital signatures, steganography, and technical protection of information (TPI).

Cybersecurity Management (Incident Response & Governance): incident monitoring, cybercrime investigation (Digital Forensics), and compliance with international standards (ISO 27001, NIST).
